A Woodworker's Bench Notes is a collection of plans, jigs and information that I have accumulated over the years. The information contained in this site is offered with the assumption that the reader has a basic knowledge of tool use and safety procedures, see disclaimer at bottom of page. I will be happy to respond by email to any further inquiries on the information given here. As a matter of policy I try to refrain from endorsing or condemning products, there are discussion groups listed on the Links Page where this is covered in much depth. This site is in a constant state of development so please bookmark it so that you can easily return to see the latest updates.
For anyone just starting out in woodworking as a hobby I have another site "Sawdust Making 101" which has information on getting started and plans for simple projects. For more project ideas visit Absolutely Free Plans a site that has an index to hundreds of free plans as well as woodworking clip art for making your own patterns. If you need information on home or auto repairs, want to try a new craft or hobby then try Do-It-101.com. I am also pleased to be involved with a family project that covers most home crafts and hobbies, Timeless Treasure Trunk, which includes sewing, knitting, crochet and scrapbooking, needless to say I am contributing mostly to the workshop related pages.
